“Little big things in Europe and our communities (Piccole grandi cose in Europa e nelle nostre comunità) è un progetto transnazionale di messa in rete sostenuto dalla Commissione Europea nell’ambito della misura 1.2 reti di città del programma l’Europa per i cittadini. Il progetto coinvolge comuni di sei diversi paesi europei che intendono condividere, valorizzare e mettere in rete “piccole” ma “grandi storie” di sviluppo locale.
Attraverso sei eventi internazionali che si realizzeranno in Grecia, Italia, Portogallo, Francia, Belgio e Malta, l’iniziativa promossa in partenariato con l’Associazione dei Comuni della Locride mira a sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica sui valori dell’integrazione europea.

“Little big things in Europe and in our local communities” is a thematic network project, developed among various European municipalities and associations of local authorities from six European countries (Greece, Italy, France, Portugal, Belgium, Malta) to enhance social-economic development through valorization and exchange of best practices that have emerged locally. The goal of the project is to present good practices and examples which represent the values and objectives of the European Union such as solidarity, combating social exclusion and discrimination, sustainable development, promotion of economic, social and territorial cohesion.
